We’re mapping a collection of self-guided desert routes exclusively for OOTR – from easy, free-flowing trails to technical terrain that’ll put your driving skills to the test.
Most routes are designed for easy-to-intermediate exploration, with challenging obstacles mixed in along the way. When things get spicy, there’s often a bypass because sometimes the biggest obstacle is convincing your co-pilot that you’ve “got this.”
Your OOTR onX map will be loaded with waypoints to discover throughout the desert.

This series is designed for new Sprinter, Grenadier, and overland vehicle owners with little to no off-road experience.Attendees will join a session to introduce each other, review vehicle preparation, practice deflation and inflation of tires, and set expectations for trail etiquette and communication.
The beginning of the event week features a guide-led trail run designed to help Foundational drivers build confidence with their rigs in the desert environment. From there, drivers can join an optional Explorer Run, offering the opportunity to push their comfort zone with a few more technical challenges along the way.
